Pay-per-view

Pay-Per-View offers instant, full text access to an extensive collection of journals, eBooks and conference articles. This service allows you to purchase access to individual items directly by using a credit/debit card. Access is instant and available for 48 hours. Once you have access to the article you may download it to your computer for your personal use.

How to purchase

Find the article(s) you are interested in either via a table of contents or a search results listing then click the 'Add to cart’ button next to the item you wish to purchase. You may continue to add further items.

To check what is in your shopping cart, click the Shopping cart link at the top of the page. Once in the shopping cart, follow the instructions.

Access to content

At the end of the shopping cart process you will be presented with an access link from which you can obtain the content. Alternatively, when logged in, go to My Account and click on Track orders. You will then be able to see a list of your recent orders. Click on the relevant order to be presented with an order summary and access links.

IET member discounts

To enjoy the member benefits, you need to be logged in using your IET username and password. Once you are logged in, the discount will be automatically applied to all the pricings on the IET Digital Library and you will receive free access to Engineering & Technology articles.

Taxation

VAT is applied to online orders, such as subscriptions, articles and eBooks. The tax is charged on all orders delivered to destinations in member countries of the EU.

What to do when the card payment is rejected

On rare occasions, your card payment may be rejected for a number of reasons. You may have entered some of your details incorrectly on the payment page. If this is a possibility, please attempt to place your order again; in particular please check that the address details that you have used on the payment page reflect the billing address for your credit card.

If there is still an issue please contact your credit card company.

What is WorldPay?

WorldPay is the payments processor that the IET Digital Library uses to process transactions. As part of the checkout process, you will be taken to the WorldPay’s site to process the payment. Once you have completed this, you will return to the IET Digital Library. It also means that you will receive email confirmation from us and from WorldPay separately.
