The logic signal (spin state) is transmitted from one spin to the next via nearest-neighbour exchange interaction. The ALU circuits are implemented by placing the quantum dots in specific geometric patterns on a wafer so as to realise the desired relationships between the input and output spin states.}, title = {Arithmetic logic unit of a computer based on spin-polarised single electrons}, journal = {IET Circuits, Devices & Systems}, issue = {3}, volume = {1}, year = {2007}, month = {June}, pages = {194-199(5)}, publisher ={Institution of Engineering and Technology}, copyright = {© The Institution of Engineering and Technology}, url = {https://digital-library.theiet.org/;jsessionid=2rqrv8f4va6v0.x-iet-live-01content/journals/10.1049/iet-cds_20060036} }
