Bloodhound Project is due to undertake the first full test firing of its Falcon 122kN-thrust prototype hybrid rocket in Q3 of 2011 ('hybrid' because it combines solid fuel with a liquid oxidiser). It will be the largest rocket tested in the UK for 20 years.
