300 km error-free transmission of 10 Gbit/s chirped duobinary signals over dispersion-uncompensated standard singlemode fibre is demonstrated. The record transmission distance is achieved by using two LiNbO3 Mach-Zehnder modulators driven only with electrical binary signals.
