An efficient numerical method is proposed for analysing the electromagnetic scattering on self-similar targets. This method consists of a recursive process based on a scale changing technique and is well-adapted to the computation of the electromagnetic scattering of planar multi-scale objects. As an example the radar cross-section of a log-periodic distribution of metallic rings is presented and discussed.
