A method for decreasing the height of a fractal Sierpinski monopole is presented. The method is based on the construction of a wire Sierpinski monopole with a Koch island loop as initiator. This initiator changes the perimeter of the gasket while preserving the multiband behaviour and the radiation power pattern characteristics of the conventional Sierpinski gasket.
