%X An upper bound for the peak-to-mean envelope power ratio (PMEPR) of composite quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) sequences in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems is derived. The composite QAM sequence is constructed by linear weighted and shifted sum of quadrature phase-shift keying (QPSK) sequences.
