An electronically tunable, nondispersive magnetostatic wave delay line consisting of cascaded magnetostatic backward volume waves and magnetostatic surface waves delay lines has been designed and realised. The distinguishing feature of the device is a wide continuously tunable time delay range of ±30% with the central value of 58 ns. An obtained bandwidth for constant time delay is ~300 MHz at a 3.15 GHz centre frequency. A deviation from constant delay is < ±5%.
