A method for electrical tuning of a dielectric resonator using a BaxSr(1-x)TiO3 thick film grown on a metal substrate is described. The results show that by incorporating a ferroelectric element, fast resonant frequency tuning of a dielectric resonator, while maintaining a useful Q-factor, is possible.
