Multiple wavelength lasing in an all-fibre figure-of-eight Brillouin/erbium fibre laser is presented. The simultaneous presence of a stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) pump and generated Stokes lines within a Sagnac loop mirror (SLM) initiated high order Stokes and anti-Stokes waves through the four-wave mixing (FWM) process.
