A CMOS second generation current conveyor consisting of two matched differential pairs and based on the first generation current conveyor is presented. PSPICE simulations have shown that its performance is quite satisfactory for wideband current-mode signal processing.

Inspec keywords: current conveyors; CMOS analogue integrated circuits; current-mode circuits; analogue processing circuits

Other keywords: wideband CMOS current conveyor; second generation current conveyor; CCII; matched differential pairs; PSPICE simulations; wideband current-mode signal processing

Subjects: Analogue processing circuits; Active filters and other active networks; CMOS integrated circuits; Analogue circuit design, modelling and testing
