The authors present the realisation of an all-fibre add/drop multiplexer based on UV-written Bragg gratings in the arms of a twincore fibre Mach-Zehnder interferometer. Experimental results of photoimprinting and wavelength adjustment of Bragg gratings on the two neighbouring cores of the fibre are demonstrated. Initial results on the use of the twincore fibre in an add/drop multiplexer configuration are reported.
