A new fuzzy logic based approach is proposed for the control of nonminimum phase systems. In this approach, a variable structure controller can be designed using fuzzy logic and linguistic control rules implementation. Simulation results of a nonminimum phase model using a fuzzy sliding mode controller are presented.
