Multistage multiuser detector for DS-CDMA multipath fading channel
The proposed multistage multiuser detector for DS-CDMA communication over a multipath fading channel consists of a bank of matched filters and a linear equaliser whose outputs are diversity combined to produce initial data estimates. Using these data, multiuser interference is removed from the matched filter bank output. Diversity combining is then applied again, which produces the final decision statistics. Simulation results indicate that this detector is near-far resistant.
