0.7 Tbit/s WDM signals were successfully transmitted over 2212 km using EDFA repeaters with pump reflectors, which improved EDFA output power and gain flatness. Our broadband EDFAs and accurate gain equalisation enabled a WDM bandwidth of 26 nm.
