1.55 µm pie-shaped narrow-band resonant-cavity photodetector arrays are demonstrated for low-cost wavelength-division multiplexing applications. The achieved average channel spacing and rejection ratio are 3.6 nm and 13 dB, respectively. Photocurrent spectra measured with a uniformly illuminated array are compared to those with individual elements illuminated.
