A bandpass microwave sinc filter using coupled microstrip circuits is described. The filter contains three elements; a coupled line filter which creates the main lobe and zeros, a Butterworth filter to reduce out-of-band energy, and an isolation element. Results for a 2.35 GHz filter matched to a 110 MHz chip rate are shown.
