A novel continuous-time correlation model for shadow fading is proposed. It reveals accordance with the level crossing theory of Gaussian processes, and can be adopted to describe and simulate the shadow fading precisely. Alternatively, it can be employed to define the utilisation limits of the Markoff discrete-time exponential model.
