A circularly polarised, rectangular, low-profile, dielectric-resonator antenna is presented which is fed by a 50 Ω microstrip line through a single aperture. The measured 3 dB axial-ratio bandwidth in the boresight direction is 14.35 – 14.80 GHz (3%). At 14.75 GHz, the input |s11| is -28 dB; the measured pattern in one elevation plane decreases with increasing thetas but the axial ratio is close to 3 dB over 110°; in the orthogonal elevation plane, the axial ratio increases more rapidly with thetas.
