A quasi-TEM approach based on conformal transformation is used to determine the characteristic impedance of a TEM cell with symmetric equipment under test (EUT), for efficient operation of the TEM cell. Some numerical results are presented.

Inspec keywords: test equipment; electric impedance; waveguide components; electromagnetic fields; electromagnetic waves; electric variables measurement; measurement theory

Other keywords: EM field distribution; characteristic impedance; quasi-Tem approach; TEM cells; EM waves; measurement; symmetric equipment under test; conformal transformation
