Combined triple-transit and bulk-wave suppression in s.a.w. delay line
The use of 3 dB hybrid power dividers/combiners at the input and output of a pair of surface-acoustic-wave delay lines can give combined suppression of triple-transit signals and bulk-wave responses. Typically, the triple-transit signal is reduced by 20 dB and the bulk-wave responses by 15 dB compared with an unmodified delay line.
