Low-frequency noise in incandescent tungsten filaments
It is shown that low-frequency noise in an incandescent filament heated by direct current has two origins. One component of this noise is shown to be due to the high temperature of the filament and other due to the direct current. This explains the discrepancy between the measured noise levels and those predicted theoretically.
