Using a previously developed formalism, we obtain explicit results for the field waveforms observed on the Earth's surface for a small horizontal loop buried in a conducting halfspace. It is shown that the shape of the waveform is diagnostic of the relative location of the buried source. The results have possible application in mine rescue operations.
