A 1-dimensional, 1-distributed-parameter nonlinear system which exhibits a structure similar to that of the standard nonlinear control loop with lumped-parameter elements, is considered from the viewpoint of its input-output stability. An approached stability circle criterion, available in the context of a linearisation with respect to the distributed parameter, is stated.
