Broadband-admittance measurements have been made on dummy S4 diode packages mounted in a coaxial line. By comparing these with the theoretical admittance of a lumped-component equivalent circuit for the package and its mount similar to that of Getsinger, a consistent set of mount-independent equivalent-circuit parameters for the package has been derived.
