In this Letter, a new polarising grid for a folded reflectarray is proposed to improve the aperture efficiency of the antenna. This polarising grid is designed using a partial grid and a director which can improve the antenna radiation characteristic. Consequently, the measured aperture efficiency of the proposed antenna with the new polarising grid is 60.49% at 77 GHz.
