A new single waveguide cell for EMC testing, the uniform area of which is 0.216×0.296 m, is presented. It is possible to change easily the polarisation of standard EM fields, such as the TTEM cell. The field uniformitiy of the proposed waveguide cell is compared to that of the TTEM cell. It is shown that it provides the standard EM fields with high field uniformity in dual polarisations simultaneously.
