A novel and low-complexity colour-space for the compression of wireless capsule endoscopy (WCE) images is presented. The colour-space is developed by analysing the unique features of endoscopic images. Compared with existing standard colour-spaces, the proposed colour-space shows better performance for WCE image compression.
