Linear precoding by gleaning energy from known multiple-antenna interference is able to achieve lower error rate than conventional schemes with interference zeroing under multiple input multiple output (MIMO) broadcast channels. Presented are modified constructions for a linear precoding matrix by separately evaluating the interference from each MIMO link. Analysis and simulation show that more interference energy can be exploited compared to existing methods, which leads to more diversity gain.
