A computationally efficient adaptive beamforming algorithm for high-frequency (HF) sky wave over-the-horizon radar to suppress the spatially nonstationary HF interference while preserving the temporal coherence of the clutter echoes is proposed. The proposed algorithm is based on the generalised sidelobe canceller structure with constraint on the time-varying weight vectors. Experimental data-processing results show the effectiveness of the algorithm.
