A simple and accurate method is proposed to assess the single diode model parameters of an illuminated and dark solar cell (SC). A description of the method and its application in the parameters evaluation from experimental iv curves of a commercial SC are reported. A coefficient of determination, R2, is obtained, which is higher than 0.9999.
