An analytical model to compute the minimum delay of Bluetooth 2.0 transmissions is presented. The model, particularised for connections using serial port profile, characterises the effects of the enhanced date rates introduced by Bluetooth 2.0, which is massively implemented in commercial Bluetooth interfaces. The model has been empirically evaluated in a real piconet.
