This paper describes some of the new devices featured in the Innovation Showcase at the 3GSM World Congress held in February 2006 in Barcelona. The show focused on emerging input and output technologies in the mobile industry, and these include cloth and virtual keyboards, virtual paper, and personal display glasses and projectors. These accessories can be augmented into the ever-shrinking mobile phone to keep it small and a literally always-carried device.
