IET Conference & Seminar Publications

The IET organises a range of international conferences, seminars and exhibitions each year. The conferences cover all aspects of electrical, electronic, manufacturing and systems engineering, and related sciences. Proceedings of all conferences are published after each event. Conferences from 1994 up to the present are available on the IET Digital Library as part of the IET Digital Library Complete Publications Package. Seminar publications and digests are collections of condensed information relating to presentations at IET colloquia and seminar events. They are sometimes in the form of speakers' hand-outs or copies of the slide show presentation.

You can search the calendar of all IET events including seminars and training courses, or view a summary of forthcoming conferences and seminars.

This forum is held on 15-16 May 2021, organizing by the Graduate School of Tsinghua University and the Institution of Engineering and Technology. It is undertaken by the Graduate Union Tsinghua University, and co-organized by Department of Electrical Engineering of Tsinghua University, Journal Center of China Electric Power Research Institute, Journal Center of State Grid Electric Power Research Institute, Power System Protection and Control Magazine and Global Energy Interconnection Journal Editorial Office. 150 graduate students in electrical engineering and related directions from Tsinghua University and China universities and research institutions, and 60 faculty staffs from Electrical Engineering Department of Tsinghua University participated in 2021 forum. This is a call-for paper forum with oral and poster session. China well-known experts and scholars in energy sectors also gave special reports on this event.

  • Michael Faraday IET International Summit 2020 (MFIIS 2020)

      • Michael Faraday IET International Summit (MFIIS) is a flagship “call for paper” event of the IET Kolkata Local Network(the oldest Local Network in India), which commenced in 2012 and focusses on cutting-edge research in the fields of engineering and technology. On Oct 3-4 2020, the 4th edition of the Michael Faraday IET International Summit (MFIIS 2020) also marked the celebration of 150 years of the IET and 75 years of the IET Kolkata Network. The conference attracted close to 100 papers of which 56 papers were selected for presentation. Due to the prevailing pandemic, the conference was held in the digital mode and had 318 attendees and Youtube views on Day 1 and 193 on Day 2. The Conference was held in collaboration with the IET Satellite IOT TNs and had the presence of the Chairs of both of these TNs. It also attracted attendees as well as speakers from the neighbouring South Asian countries of Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh. The conference covered a wide range with 7 tracks encompassing various fields such as Power and Energy, Measurement and Signal processing, Communication and Networking, IOT, Future of Mobility and Transport and Nano-materials.
