• The 12th Mediterranean Conference on Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution and Energy Conversion (MEDPOWER 2020) was held virtually from the 9th to the 12th November 2020. The conference was originally planned to be held with physical presence in Paphos, Cyprus. The 12th international IET MEDPOWER conference was organized by the IET Cyprus local network with the contribution of the IET Hellas and Malta networks. It provided the opportunity for engineers, scientists, technicians, researchers, scholars and companies to exchange ideas and discuss the latest research achievements in academia and industry. The conference also provided a forum to create opportunities for networking and collaboration through a series of presentations, talks, and special sessions, covering all aspects of power system design, operation, and planning, including the integration of ICT and energy systems as well as addressing challenges in the future energy markets.
