Preparing your conference paper for publication on the IET Digital Library
Authors are required to prepare their papers using Microsoft Word according to the journal's guidelines and template, and then convert these files to PDF.
The IET do not copy-edit or proofread conference papers and they must be submitted in their final ready-for-publication format and accompanied with a signed copyright form or licence.
The IET has partnered with Editage to provide editorial services to authors submitting to IET Journals. Prior to submitting your proceedings paper, you may wish to have it edited for correct use of English, particularly if English is not your first language.
There are a large number of language-editing services available and you would be free to use any of these. Note that authors are liable for all costs associated with language editing and IET does not accept any responsibility for the level of service provided.
All submitted papers will be subject to the internal scope and quality checks and the use of the Editage or any other language-service does not guarantee that your manuscript will be accepted for publication on the IET Digital Library.
Please do not submit your papers directly to the IET, contact your conference organiser for submission instructions.
