Based on the study of Khatri-Rao subspace wideband DOA estimation algorithm (referred as KR), a Khatri-Rao subspace wideband DOA estimation algorithm in view of propagator method (referred as KR-P) is proposed. This method first deletes the noise and invalid information in the covariance matrix. The algorithm used is the orthogonal projection operator. Simulation results show that, KR-P algorithm makes the calculation process easier. When the number of array elements is less than the number of signal sources. wideband DOA estimation can still be performed. And when the SNR is low, the result obtained is more ideal than the KR algorithm.
