Over the past decade, the construction industry has conducted various studies on the use of readily available raw materials in the construction sector. The GCC countries are also witnessing a rapid boom in the construction sector that requires the innovation of materials and construction tools. Bricks and Concrete block are the most frequently used construction material for building infrastructure. For manufacturing clay bricks and blocks have been emitting CO2, which is affect to the green environment. Therefore, alternative eco – friendly solutions have focused for crating greener environment. The alternative materials have been suggested for sustainable construction in conventional and non – conventional material which is helps to reduce carbon emission by different parameters and consider as a greener, cost effective, low energy consumption and high thermal conductivity materials. It refers to Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) block as eco-friendly construction materials, which provides a potential solution to structural construction. In this article, a corrective action has been made to change the clay bricks by means of eco-friendly AAC blocks. It was found that it has so many advantages which will favour the construction of smart infrastructure.
