Internet of Things (IoT) devices will revolutionize the world in the future, as data collected by all the IoT devices can work together to make a complete smart home and then smart city. This will improve the living condition of people, as everything would be connected in their lives. Your phone, your car, your home, your city everything will be connected as the whole world is going to be smart. Internet of things will take over the world. IOT is important in order to ensure extra security measures that should be taken in today’s modern world. The aim of this research is to help business and more specifically starting businesses to include this safety precaution in order to run and maintain a successful business. It is also aiming to introduce new world technology, as the IOT based theft detection project uses imagine processing on live video to not only identify the theft, but also show what occurred exactly in live video The aim also includes making the consumers aware that it is risk free and safe, as the system is backed up in many ways. The theft is not only backed up by live video, it also sends out a notification to business owners when suspicious activities take place. It also stores the recording for extra precautions and as a backup in case of any errors. It is a success for any business owner to have such solution with a full proof.
