Applying MIMO technology into high frequency surface wave radar is a popular topic in recent years. This paper presents a new orthogonal waveform apply to MIMO high frequency surface wave radar, which is named as Linear Frequency Modulation - Complete Complementary Code (LFM-CCC). LFM-CCC combines the superiority both of LFM and Complete Complementary Code, can keep complete orthogonal between waveforms, and avoid the performance degradation due to doppler shift and signal truncation. This paper introduces the structure of LFM-CCC first, and deduces the ambiguity function of that. Then presents the step signal processing method, to resolve the question of doppler sensitivity. At last, we analyse the performance of LFM-CCC in MIMO-HFSWR. The simulation results show that LFM-CCC has the same auto-correlation performance with LFM, and has complete ideal cross-correlation performance in the meantime, which proves that LFM-CCC has an excellent performance used in MIMO-HFSWR.
