A three-feeding mechanism is introduced for circularly polarized (CP) microstrip antennas to posses stable phase center. Basing on the phase relationship and applying the least square method, the phase center of the CP antennas has been presented by theoretical calculation and analysis. The simulated results approve the advantage of the centrosymmetric feeding configuration, and the stability of phase center of the three-fed antenna is less than 1 mm in the main lobe range, while that of the traditional dual-fed CP antenna is as large as 4 mm. Furthermore, a simple and efficient evolution approach is introduced to obtain a accurate solution of the mean phase center. The simulated result shows that the location of mean phase center ,which is optimized by the Geese particle swarm optimization in a least-square sense, can reduce almost half phase deviation on phase radiation pattern, comparing with the centre of stability sphere.
