Aiming at the problem of ground clutter in ground-air cooperative bistatic radar, a mathematical model of clutter is established. And based on the model, the clutter's space-time characteristics are analyzed. Then, the range doppler spectral characteristics of clutter are numerically simulated. The simulation results show that the geometry of the ground-air bistatic radar makes the space-time two dimensional spectral distribution of clutter not only change with the geometry parameters of the bistatic radar, but also with the range sum. Finally, an important conclusion is obtained that the ground-air bistatic radar clutter exhibits serious non-stationarity and range-variation.
