Design of control wheel which is the most important control device in cockpit of aircraft proposed. Combine with relevant data of pilot and kinematic simulation, a design principle of control wheel is proposed based on control characteristic and function of control device. A kind of control wheel with ergonomics improved is designed in CATIA. An improved pilot evaluation method is proposed to verify the design. And evaluation to each design item on control wheel is scored based on 3D printing model. The final evaluation result is calculated based on weighted average algorithm. Result shows control wheel design is a rational design. And ergonomics improved significantly. This paper is of great significance to the design of man-machine interface.
