In order to improve the power density of the current source motor drive, this paper proposes an optimized design method of the DC-link inductor. The design content includes the value of the inductor, the calculation of the inductor core and the winding . Inductor weight and loss are used as evaluation indicators to constrain the design results, and the design results of the inductor are evaluated in conjunction with the switching losses of the switching devices used in the current source inverter (CSI) circuit topology. Through the proposed design method, the weight optimization design of the DC-link inductor of the CSI can be achieved.
