In the design of OBIGGS, the determination of the specific concentration of Nitrogen Enriched Air flow is very important. In this paper, the mathematical model of fuel tank inerting is established, and its correctness is verified by the test data. Then, the NEA flow is calculated under a specific flight envelope, and the influence of flight altitude and inerting time on NEA flow is analyzed. The results show that the inerting time should be greater than 10min in the design of OBIGGS.
