The main purpose of so-called maximum power point tracking technology (MPPT) is to meet the inevitable requirement of lightweight and efficient power supply of space vehicles. In this paper, a superbuck converter implemented in aerospace for maximum power point tracking technology is analysed and modelled. After optimisation, the final design is examined as a minimum phase system. Prototype is built and results of the experiment is analysed to meet stability and efficiency requirement.
