Whether brushless direct current motor (BLDCM) commutation is accurate or not directly determines the performance of the motor. In this paper, a sensorless control method for brushless direct current motor based on hybrid least square −60° −α commutation compensation algorithm is proposed. The feasibility and superiority of this control strategy is demonstrated by the experimental results of the system simulation model built on the Matlab/Simulink platform.
