Packing cardboard is an important part of pantyhose packaging product. Taking the pantyhose packaging machine as an example, the packing cardboard is placed in folded pantyhose. During the suction of pantyhose cardboard, frequent contact between semi-flexible cardboard and rigid parts will lead to the stress and deformation of cardboard. Firstly, according to the functional requirements of pantyhose automatic packaging, the suitable automatic placement process for packaging cardboard is determined. Then, based on the automatic placement process, the mechanical properties of the automatic placement process of cardboard are studied by the finite element simulation method, which is proved by experiments. The results show that the change of cardboard displacement is closely related to the position of sucker, and the yield deformation of cardboard is related to the displacement of sucker and the position of sucker. The relationship among suction load, deformation of paperboard and the size of restraint surface are given. The research results provided academic basis for the design and optimization of the automatic placement mechanism in the pantyhose automatic packaging system. The mechanical properties of cardboard in the process of automatic placement are analyzed.
