Safety is the most important aspect among the three elements of safety, economy and comfort of civil aircraft. Landing gear system is a mechatronics system which is more and more complex in recent years. So far, domestic analysis and research on the safety of civil aircraft landing gear retractable systems have mainly focused on retractable mechanisms, and the research on control systems has mainly focused on theoretical methods. This paper analyzes the failure conditions and failure effects of the landing gear Ret/Ext function. Based on the theoretical method of ARP4654A, the development assurance levels are distributed and an architecture of landing gear control system is proposed. The analysis results can provide technical support for the development of the landing gear retraction/extension system for civil aircraft.
