With the large-scale development of new energy sources such as wind power photovoltaics, the demand for energy storage technology in power grid operation is more intense. In recent years, electrochemical energy storage has developed at a faster rate and has a wider application range on the grid side. Different energy storage types and scales have different benefits and costs. The operation mode of energy storage also has an important impact on the income. It is necessary to carry out research on energy storage configuration optimization. Based on the study of energy storage application scenarios and various revenue and cost calculation methods, this paper takes an island power grid as an example, and uses intelligent algorithms to solve the energy storage configuration optimization objective function, and gives the optimal energy storage configuration and operation mode strategy suggestions.
